What are Computers? Computers as a part of Modern World

INTRODUCTION

With advancements in the field of science, scientists came to invent Computers. Computers changed the way things behave. They brought such a dramatic change in every single field of life. Computers have played a major role in changing world and made it possible for Automation to come into existence.

Computers have been evolving since the day it was invented. Computers are classified into generations on the basis of features they offer and technology used in them. These generations are :

4. 4th Generation Computers ( VLSI - Microprocessors )
5. 5th Generation Computers [ Artificial intelligence ( See This Artificial Intelligence Controversy ) and Robotics ]

USES OF COMPUTERS
Computers are used in various aspects of life such as Computers are used for scientific researchs, Science Labs, Space Research, Astronauts and Layman as well as banks and business, marts, Point-of-sales etc & More. Computers have now dominated entertainment. Many people use their Personal PCs for entertainment as well as news, knowledge, information and education as well. Some schools use Computers as a tool to teach students knows as E-Learning.
