Precious Possessions

Precious Possessions. I imagine what would happen if I wear a ring, out of fashion. Why do I say that?
Benjamin Franklin is the precious ring of America, not just America but I think he's a gift to the whole world. Everything we see in America, the precious things, the kind of things we value, it was all catalyzed by beliefs and habits of Ben Frank. Ben has a quote, "If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead, either write something worth reading or do things/something worth writing".

Anyways, the great example is my favourite player Mesut Ozil. And you know what happened to him.

Polish-German vs Turkish-German. Anyways, it's all racism.

World, esp., Germany should be worried for their mistake. Mesut has millions(yes, I'm a fan too) fans and more than that he's have multiple sponsorships. This is what happens when a man has principles and set of values. You are sane in a world that is insane. You acquire latticework of mental models (also multiple mental models) over a lifetime. Then you harness the Lollapalooza effects.

If you're crazy, then don't impose your craziness on others, instead build a work of art to express that. Say I'm really tired of Arms. And say a story matters to me. I want to express my frustration with mass weapons and human psychology. I use maybe Sci-Fi to express that. We make video games. What do you think makers of Killzone Shadowfall had in mind. It's to express. Remember what I said in last post, language + imagination + experiences. That is the goal with every piece of art you've seen.  But artists need to embrace objectivism. They need language to close the gaps between their imagination and their capabilities.

Look, I'm a big fan of Robert Rodriguez. He has a book with Title, "Rebel without a crew".  I love his story. Independent creator. With experience or language + imagination + experiences, he was able to create films like El Mariachi and Spy Kids series.

I always wanted to make video games. But after sitting in some class rooms and lectures, I learned that creativity is not found within textbooks, although they matter, it's found within your expression. We all have our priced possessions. To me, they are books and philosophy. Now I don't want to pretend some kind of priest.

For example, take the example of my absolute favourite character, Leliana, from Dragon Age: Inquisition. One time, we are on a Royal ball and she says, "Inquisitor, look at her shoes" pointing to a noble woman, and she comments, "Loose sandals with expensive Gold work on them. she walks and displaces her shoes. Such flaunt of money". Inquisitor asks, "Why do you give attention to such thing as sandal?" and she says, "Inquisitor, you can learn alot about a person from the clothes they wear". I'm paraphrasing her. The point is she had the imagination and experiences and then a language to express that.

Because we, as a society, haven't been able to present a written framework/blueprint for artists to function, many artists and fellow brothers who I am extremely sad and concerned about, like my dad who sometimes stuns me with his imagination. But the only problem is the one Charles Munger expressed with this dictum, "If you are unidisciplinary, you are like a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest". He says if you want to just be defined into on boundary, one discipline, if you don't want to cross jurisdictional boundaries or in other words if you want to be a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest, then, he proceeds, "be my guest". It is really a lack of priorities when we place importance to men who have lost their soul and are toiling away so that they can survive what little days they have on this Earth to live.

Vogue magazine asked the Former Queen of Hollywood, the 2006 Oscar winner, Rachel Weisz who starred in The Mummy alongside now broke Branden Fraser and the novel Dwayne Johnson, who's now Forbes "most highest paid actor of all time" in 2018. In fact he doubled his salary from 2017 to 2018. Wow. Dwayne is master. Anyways, Rachel Weisz was asked, "Why you are so young at 48?" and her answer was not some sexy, weight-loss tip but this answer proceeded with a nebulous term that many fitness experts in industry hate, a term that is so vague that it lost it's own meaning: Genetics. What? okay what about Arnold Schwarzenegger or what about Jerzy Gregorek or what about father of Tim Ferriss, who's above 60 and lost 20-30 pounds of weight in 3-4 weeks, I don't know exactly but the point is the whole fitness industry is about giving tools to people to defeat the "genetic" faults they were born with. Too thin and skinny? Take protiens within half hours of waking up with some kind of bacteria or mitochondria like Kimchi, or any other Fermented food. I tend to take Pickles. Too fat, same. The great thing about this kind of strategy is that it produces 10x result for any "genetic" fault you have. Protein builds muscle and makes you lose fat. When forbes asked Dwayne about his inspirations, he said his inspirations were Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone. He used to ask himself, "I want to be succesfull but what does successful mean in this respect? it means to build my body and health".  So did he. Because Arnold built his body and his whole career was built around that. Same for Sylvester. He even has a book about fitness and health and his own experience + imagination (or mental models, in short)  expressed through consistent use of language. All these men are legendary. Arnold had a real estate repertoire before coming into Hollywood. For those who don't know, Arnold was already a millionaire flipping houses in America. I don't know exact strategy he used to boost his Real Estate career, but surely he seemed to be pretty financially educated about his decisions. Dwayne created Seven Buck Production and now you can see him in Baywatch.

Okay, enough of general talk. If you ask me specifically what these men suggest, like what is most common among actors who don't necessarily want to be like Arnold or Sylvester but want to gain weight in a short amount of time for that movie role, then one thing common is "Kettlebell Swings" and for females I've analyzed, it's Weighted Lunges. Many even use Kettlebells to perform Weighted Lunges or some do use barbells or whatever. Another thing common among all the actors was Chest Press. I use Kettlebell Chest Press, because I made a cheap 4.5kg, a close cousin to 6, myself in home and use it. Great warm-up exercise. I do push-ups and then 5 sets of 2 repetitions of Kettlebell(KB) Chest Press. Then I follow-up with Jump Ropes or on 3 days a week(Monday, Wednesday and Friday) I add Kettlebell swings(3 sets of 15 Repetitions and then 5 more repetitions. Now I am doing 4 Sets of 15 repetitions with 1 minute break between each set). But Jump Ropes is in a Tabata fashion. I do 40 reps and then take a break while doing 5 Sit-Ups and then do another 40 reps and another set of 5 Sit-ups(actually I use a custom version known as Janda Sit-ups as told be ScottHermanFitness on YouTube, which is like Arms crossed near each shoulder on each side and back hamstrings contracted towards Hips or down) and then I do KB Clean and Press and then I do another Tabata but this time I take full 1 minute break between 2 sets (of 40 reps, remember?). This 1 minute rest is super important. This is called HIIT(High Intensity Training) or in my language, combination of movements and presses and cardio to increase strength or to build strength in body. Then I do last movements which are focused on legs. For these, I do 5 sets of 2 reps of KB Goblet Squat(Google it) and then I do Forward lunges with Kettlebells on both/each leg one after the other, with same 5 sets of 2 reps. After 5 sets of 2 reps, I switch to the other leg. If on a lucky day I am feeling like Superman, then I will do Alternated Step-Ups with my KB with the same 5 sets of 2 reps with 5 second rest between each set. Last but not least or super important in my case, I take a 80-90 second shower while performing Air Squats in the shower for 80-90 seconds. That's it. Easy Peasy. When I workout, I feel much better than I felt before. Why? Because of my order or arrangement of exercises. Keep this in mind. This is not some motivational line but you should feel better after your work out than before. If not then change or revamp your work out movements.  Ahh.. the feel as if I achieved something real big. I'm clean, exercised and ready to tackle challenges of day, which means my next step is to eat veges, eggs and chicken with one flatbread. Then the next step is my favorite. I sit down, read the paragraph titled "Availability-Misweighing" Tendency from Poor Charlie's Almanack (I have copied and written it elsewhere so I don't have to switch through whole book for that) and then I sit down in total privacy and write down a big "Availability-Misweighing Tendency:" please note ":" or colon is 100% important, in my case, you can experiment whatever. Then I write bullet One and write down whatever comes to mind while repeating this sentence in my mind as a MANTRA again and again until I feel it's enough which is this: "An idea or fact is not worth more merely because it is easily available to you". This is the last line from Availability-Misweighing Tendency I talked about earlier.

I just want to build something that the world can hear.

Whenever I learn something by deconstructing it and properly sequencing it in 24 hours. Then I  want myself and world to know. So that's the drive, if you wonder.

Human and machine go hand in hand. Such a romantic relationship. Everything related to you and your body, your machine knows, even when you forget.

For Example their a series on Discovery named "Ahaunted" and in the series, they record stories so they can later recall. How they overcame their obstacles and how it shaped their life at the time. What they could learn from that again and again.

It's really about politely creating and aggressively refusing. You have to say "No" to a lot of things. But you should always be ready to shun old beliefs when someone makes you realize this is where you were not quite right and then what they say makes sense.

Like Ozil said he values whenever a journalist criticizes him or his performance but he gracefully said no to Germany when faced with racism. The point is to say No when necessary and to move on.

I'm curious about Liking/Loving tendency of human beings. Why humans love things and then sometimes, they start hating them.

The new idea we love today will then be not so loved. They had the idea of utilizing tidal energy using carriers in ocean. They want to make it sustainable and measurable.

Like a manager analyzes his players and directs his training onto certain aspects and keep changing them time by time. In my case with PES 2017, Olivor Giroud was hell slow. I used to train him in such a way he could easily overcome [weaknesses] or maybe maximize his strengths, which were passing, shooting and dribbling. Dribbling was not like his strength, but was something he could be trained on.

Anyways, I'm really afraid of Universities. Look, training is good. But what is training in my case, to go to Universities for a bachelors? hell no. It is like an open invitation to the well of death. God forbid.

What I fear is lack of soul. I see men, great men, distracted by women. I see them satisfied and feeling successful just because they can satisfy their wives. Loss of soul. Loss of self. This is the subject of the book "Virtue of Selfishness" by Ayn Rand, which was recommended to me by the gorgeous Eve Mauro(https://www.instagram.com/eve_mauro). There's another book with Title, "Women, Fire and Dangerous things". Author argues that our mind has logic and then emotions. But what is sure is how we categorize things. When we see something, we are categorizing it. Many people categorize women. They say things like, "Virgin", "Divorced", "Slut" or any worse term you can find on Earth. This is why I say loss of self-esteem. What I mean by that is they whenever you find yourself categorized by other people, it's a sign you have to pause and reflect.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect - Mark Twain.
I was wholly "On the side of majority". This blog is meant to kill that aspect of me. My goal is to be an independent thinker. Fully functional in society, able to perform and serve whenever a higher calling calls upon him. I don't know what will happen to me and women. I don't how many woman I would talk to. But I just don't want to be "On the side of majority", hence the pausing and reflecting part.

You are the average of five most people you spend your time with.

There are variants of this quote, like "You are the average of five most people you associate yourself with."

Another is the Five Chimps theory, which can be attributed to Naval Ravikant, and it says you can predict the behavior of a monkey by the five most monkeys he hangs out with.

In an interview with Selena Gomez, interviewer asked her, "You seem to be focused on your projects. But when certain people get fame, they get into bad things. So how do you manage that in case of fame?" and she replied, "You know, you are who you associate yourself with. I mean that saying is so cliched but....". Clearly, the maxim makes sense now.

For Example, Willy Wonka has a very toxic dad. It is after leaving his dad and meeting with "Oompa Loompas" that he's able to build and leverage such a company. And one of the things I like is that in a scene when he's growing up, he takes a notebook and is crazily writing his impressions as he's eating sweets. Maybe that's the reason, when I read books, listen to podcasts or play Video games, I so want that experience that I write it 👲👲. As if I would forget, and I would. Everyone eats candies, but not everyone observes it with the eye of an artist and writes his version of Language + Imagination + Experiences with it. This is how a man can operate in an insane world. These notes, these imaginations is what makes us. This is the most common habit among billionaires and millionaires or any kind of creator. As I said, it's about putting disconforming evidence out there.

You may not create a candy corporation but maybe you may create "Thrift Shop" like song (hats-off to Macklemore) 😂😂😂 Maybe you can be so inspired by thrift shops that you can make a song about it and get 1 billion views in return. Opportunities are limitless once you break the gap between expression, imagination and creativity. And you know the first step is the same: we achieve that using language, the best leverage.

What makes people Jolly. It is not the personal things, but creations of a man that amuses others. Jolly minds. We all have Woody Allen side of us. But what we can do is to have jolly minds but have some strong convictions. But again Strong beliefs, loosely held. Even is we get a little bit of disconforming evidence, we should change our beliefs. But strong really means to research things harder and in full ground.

One of the things my fellow geek Matt Mullenweg, who has certainly made his name as the founder of Wordpress, whatever, taught me the best way to get into habit of working out is to commit to one push-up a day. Yes, one push up. He says, "No matter whatever is happening in your life. You can't excuse against not doing one push up. C'mon it's just one push-up. I find it easier that once I overcome that initial hump to anything big, I can do it."

It's really about minimizing methods with most failure. This is called "Failure proofing". You chase the method with the least amount of diminishing returns. This is also called Occam's Razor. The best path is the one that is simple and comes naturally.

Today, it's more about earning money than producing. We have come far as society but in 18th century Corporations were blood bath of wars. They even had arms and weapons and they did wars. Silly thing and nasty. Not the best path.

Like today, Ozil has my sympathies. But he's creator. He's an artist in his own craft. Football is just like other things. Creating a goal and opportunities out of things takes art, patience and imagination. Then these arts make an impact on the world through their art and craft.

Cavani is great player and tallest in My Club, which is Arsenal FC(I hired him a a transfer in PES 2017). His strengths are speed, charisma, tactics and goal creation out of nothing. He is incredibly comfortable to work with and I'd train him in multiple positions. I followed his example with Ozil and Ozil adapted very well. I trained Ozil in multiple styles for example he was a "Creative Playmaker" but then I trained him as "Goal Poacher" and then I ran or cycled through multiple trainings like Speed, Passing, Dribbling and Physical. I also cycled him through Defense. The same goes for CAVANI. They are my best players in Arsenal FC, and Wayne Rooney is another great player of mine from Man Red(Manchester United in PES 2017). Rooney has great fandom and his merchandise sales were exploding. He was a true asset to Man Red. His goals, coordination and adaptability to team instructions is mind-blowing. Also, he's a motivator and drive for younger talents in Man Red.

I think we should really be grateful and careful at the same time. Being grateful about things also means taking active steps to protect them. That is also a form of gratitude. And not just protecting them through opinions or "Facebook posts" but to contribute and make a difference in their lives by donating money, knowledge and training. In life, ugly swans can come visiting anytime sooner. We need to be careful.

You only get one reputation, make it worth it
Let not the ugliness of externals tense you
These scandals are just opportunities in ugly clothes
Some say they Pirate your work and they sell you DVDs
It is the case because their minds are pirated...

Run, Aaliyan, Run
Run away and run away
Don't mix hospice with prestige
No one owes you shit

Let the guidance, wisdom and experience of those above you guide you,
for I see the constant benefit in helping others pack
Let's hit for the net
Let's become someone like Konzi
He who plays, enjoys, creates and shares

When I saw the YouTube channel Freekickers, I asked myself, "Why the hell these guys have such big following?"
And then I remember myself telling my own self much later, "It is because Konzi trained himself. He's an MBA. He's successfully recorded, produced, edited and selected music for his videos. He's playing, shooting, editing, adding his own voice over and then selecting music. Yes, he can do it all. Now he' launched his merchandise and now he helps their team creating designs for their clothing products. They plan and pull it all off. This is no ordinary feat."

Then I saw Xander Cage and I wondered to myself, "This movie has so disciplined actors and it's script seems like amazing and it seems to follow a pattern. Vin Diesel had always this image of hyper-active person and this script has carefully put those elements in it."

Then I read the book Screw it! Let's do it! by Richard Branson. I thought to myself, "How the hell can one guy create Virgin and then add Airlines business to its portfolio?". Then I wondered even further, "Maybe that's because Richard has always taken risks and what sort of risks? Catching attention through big feats and attracting a lot of PR in the process".

Then one day I found myself in a difficult situation. I knew something was wrong but dad wouldn't listen. So I thought to myself, "You know what, fuck it. Argue with action not with words", which was because I had read the copy of 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene.

Then I saw The Orville's scene with Adriana Poliscki when she's tied and the villain asks her, "Where are your friends?" and she answers with, "Well, last time I saw them, one of them was banging your mom and the other was high-fiving her".

And then I thought to myself, "Well, humor is not something new, but these guys have said goodbye to the old format and are now combing humor, which is not new, with Space and star trek. That sentence sounds cliched and humor and science fiction sounds cliched too. But the secret to life is behind the word 'Cliche', as Shay Carl would say".
