Fake it till you make it. Bad emotions? fake a smile. Non-confident? fake it. Not a cool mommy daddy person? fake it. This principle works. Can't play good football? dive in and train. Can't be like other guys, well then promote yourself. It works, even for social encounters.
There are uprising startups like Uber. If you live in Pakistan, which I do, you would notice whenever someone mentions Uber, someone else will always suggest Careem(a competitor of Uber in Pakistan). Uber is the most fast-growing technology startup in the world. They've paid more salaries than any other technological startup. To me, it's a matter of really making it whatever you do a no B.S. work. Work is how a man earns his respect. Never ever sell what you wouldn't buy. And I think if I had a billion dollars and I had to spend it besides on Cars and houses and on other words, liabilities, I would spend it on what I talked about in my latest video "Hospice" I say Bill Gates has "holiday reading" sessions. Basically, he writes top 5 books to read in a particular month/season and he goes to vacations to read those books with her wife Melinda. If Bill couldn't make it on Professional education, so he started a no B.S. education. If we don't expose our teenagers to the ideas that worked so well for leaders and visionaries from history, then how can we raise a productive generation. If Charlie Munger was to teach a class, he would definitely teach a course called "Remedial Wordly Wisdom" that will correct all the follies in the academia. I want to be that next generation. I want to among those children who were lucky enough to interact with one of the most wisest minds of history: Charles T. Munger. I always wanted to imitate Bill Gates from his principles. I believe If Bill was me, he would definitely have gone for the path I'm choosing.
