The Secret to Greatness
There is a position, and then there is the human. Paul Pogba, a midfielder, can do as much more
than just mid fielding. You know as Charles Munger says, "Being multidisciplinary is really about
crossing jurisdictional boundaries". Good people work hard, but great people agree with their
positon but disagree with the expectations of their performance. They do more than is asked of
them and end up being "famous". This is how Warren Buffet, Bill Gates and everyone we
admire became rich and famous. Mercedez is great no matter wherever it's being driven. You're
driving it in Germany, it's still a luxury car. No matter the economy, which is whether Europe or
Africa, good people are valued, but great people earn their name, even if they belong to a
country or nation that's not so hard working. For example, applying this mental model of niches
to football, we have Merseyside Blue, a great football club with players like Lukaku. Make no
mistake, these players are best in their business/profession. Just like when you workout and
then eat coconut and protein, you want a good multidisciplinary shake for yourself, no matter
your field/profession. You are not a ghost, so you can't expect to be invisible in the world and
still be okay on Earth, as Gary Vaynerchuk would probably say. Considering this extra-ordinary
mans' story, how he persisted on habits that made him adapt to whatever came into his way. A
man crashes and burns but then adapts. This is what Ray Dalio said. The real nature of nature is
such that adaptation phenomenon is part of a great many system of universe itself. The road to
success is not invisble. Meaning, what you do is seen, probably because you make it look easy,
unique, multidisciplinary and attention-catching. Uncomfortable questions result in uncommon
answers, meaning answers that you normally don't get when you are X person in your
community who's talented and great but has many problems in life, for example bullying and
social circle. Kiss. This word is the most searched word on Google. Yet people hug each other
and may even kiss, but they always are trying to clip each other out into something unlucky and
something that's avoidable. People forget that the problems you are given will not come to you
unless you are unconscious of them. You live to fight for another day. Lukaku, the consistently
best English and UEFA league goal scorer, next to E. CAVANI, J. RODRIGUEZ and S. AGUERO,
SUAREZ and Zlatan IBRAHIMOVIC and H. KANE from North East London and the best assist
leader of UEFA league and English League has been Mesut Ozil and then P. POGBA (I'm talking
about my game, PES 2017). The Sun is up and Tesla is on space. The football industry is big and
Ozil, officially M10, still gets it roughly right despite recent bullying. To me, this is totally like
Virgin(category). Virgin Airlines, perhaps the most bullied organization on planet, and here in
Pakistan, we have other unicorns like J., who still survive to this day due to reputation and
brand of the man behind the brand, Junaid Jamshed. Luck doesn't come so easily, just as not
everyone benefits from the Sun all the time. Fellas like Tesla are big energy groups on Earth and
yet, they continue to gain a hell a lot of competitive edge despite being in a pressured industry
with so many stakes.
