If there’s
one thing evolution has shown to us its that more and more humans are
becoming naive. First the man was extra-ordinary created things, hunted
big giants, was happy emotionally, physically fit. In fact people like
Al-Jabr came to Earth introducing one of the ideas that had to change to
world: the Algebra.
There
is one pattern repeated. That history doesn’t repeat. What I was 2
years ago and what happened to me won’t happen anymore. If with some
luck people were saved from Hurricane Irma. that Donald Trump donated 1
million dollars, that Mark Zuckerberg donated $97,000, that won’t happen
again. We’re not sure if Donald Trump will again save Earth, but we’re
sure of one thing, that many more tragedies will occur. Its not that I’m
pessimistic, I just observe events around me and then use what I have
to understand and interpret: Intelligence.
Lessons Learned
Man’s
limited capacity brain can drift into working with what’s easily
available to it. But 21st century created phenomenons for people to
block them from seeing one or more factors that cause dysfunctional
thinking. I’ve seen “nominalists” who think Mathematics has no
connection whatsoever to Earth. A man should master his own brain, his
own psychological tendencies. How you do that? by learning and observing
patterns among nature. Physics is a beautiful explanation of this
strange reality we call “Earth”. If you’ve ever taken a Physics class,
even though you’re not that “interested” in sciences, I’m sure it
would’ve changed your life and your perspective completely.
Understanding of Physics is very important in understanding of the
Earth. Now combine that with Mathematics, Psychology, you can do your
own synthesis and create your own checklists and mental heuristics to
make decision-making easy. One is for example the so called “80/20
Analysis”. Now add to that more tests and analysis for example the SWOT
Analysis. These are very elementary examples.
Mastery
of the self is the world and Mastery of the world is the mastery of the
self — An Ancient Qunari text from Video Game Dragon Age Inquisition
I’m going to leave you with a quote from Ludwig Wittgenstein:
The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.
Understanding
these things don’t require one to formally pass an exam and get good
grades. As Mark Twain would say, “I never let my schooling interfere
with my education”.
