Germany
was heavily influenced by Marxism. And yes some socialist thinkers in
Germany were quite inspired by the Russian communism. We all know that 1923 Monetary Crash
in Germany. And yes the free market theory that has been hailed
throughout the last century until some dis-conforming evidences came
about as the rise of conspiracy theorists. No one is specified. Although
my personal favorite is the concept of “Financial Intelligence” pioneered by Robert Kiyosaki in his first New York Times best-selling book Rich Dad Poor Dad.
A Little bit of history from the Soviet Union
“The Russian Revolution of 1917 involved the collapse of an empire under Tsar Nicholas II and the rise of Marxian socialism under Lenin and his Bolsheviks. It sparked the beginning of a new era in Russia that had effects on countries around the world.”
Lenin
was a heavy supporter and believer in Marxist Socialism. The newly
appointed Trotsky was successfully pitched and was directed to start a
Revolution starting 1917. And we know Lenin was again elected as well as
anarchy was spread under “a perfect radical socialist Vladimir Lenin”.
So later Tsar Nischolas II and family were murdered. The Bolsheviks
tried to solve problems in their partially succesful campaigns, that is
they were still not able to solve problem of hunger and startvation.
The
conclusion being that the Soviet Union was formed circa 1922 as a true
Marxist society, which was abolished later at December 1991. Soviet
Union was highly centralized.
The point
George Washington, who with an estimated net worth of $525 million (in 2016 dollars) due to his vast holdings of land and slaves, was the wealthiest man to hold the office prior to the election of billionaire Donald Trump in 2016.” — Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_money
It
all comes down to education. The Soviets and other similar
“parties”(this is a joke), with power under a small group of people
controlling education system to impact the desired change, often
contrasted to Democracy.
Why
is education system the way it is? What’s the purpose? The answer is
given by Buckminister Fuller in Grunch of Giants books that highly
specialized individuals collaborate under a leadership and do big things
for the ultra-rich(i.e. Top 10% of the world). No one knows what is the
impact of his work on the person or field other than him. For Example
No Doctor in 20th century knew how his work and his field throughout
impacted other fields say Construction and Computer Science. So did
Computer Science students. They had no idea why and how they were doing
was impacting not only Medicine but other big disciplines such as
banking. So did the bankers. Nowadays educational institutions are doing
good job at spreading this awareness. But it still needs improvement.
Still many people, I personally think, we meet don’t know how, say, a
computer science student can impact liberal arts(too rare) and how
philosophy and technology combined can drive changes. One notable
example from recent history is Apple, Steve Jobs at the intersection of
Arts(i.e. his immense focus on Design a la Typography),
Electronics, Science and Technology. The result was the iMac, iPod and
all iGadgets. Its a shame and at the same time seeing from a neutral
point of view that Apple alone is worth a Trillion dollars
with just, on labor point of view, 97,000-something workers on the
other hand say Japan’s GDP(we’re talking about 127 million people on
Earth and their combined earnings/achievements) is 4.939 trillion USD (Source here). Interestingly look at this infographic
I
believe, personally, this problem can be solved even if the Rich spend
1% of their money, by making education free and easily accessible. Its
one of those things that society deserves to have for free. I really
believe in the mission of Khanacademy.
